The faith life of future generations (children) is priority #1 at Water's Edge. From our Sunday morning Children's DTX (Discipleship Training X-periences) program to our bi-monthly Precious Preschoolers gathering, opportunities for children to hear and saturate the love and truth of Jesus abound!

Children's DTX (Discipleship Training X-periences)

Each weekend as we gather for worship (Sundays 9:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.), we spend the first 25 minutes in worship all together as a family. Then, after our special children's message, children are invited to attend our Children's DTX experiences. Within those next 35 minutes children are exposed to powerful Bible narratives and life-changing Biblical concepts... all of which are reinforced with songs and hands-on crafts and projects. All of this is done on an age appropriate level, so seeds of God's Word are given the very best chance to take root and grow! We're blessed to have many accredited and degreed teachers facilitating our Children's DTX Program, so it is certainly done with excellence!

Currently, out of the 400+ souls connected to Water's Edge, 180 are children! That was our hope and prayer from the beginning, so God has indeed grown a very "child focused" ministry mindset in our midst. Our mantra continues to be Jesus' words, "Let the little children come to me... the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these!"
