Pastor Patrick's Wednesday Night DTX Courses: Beginning this Wednesday evening, July 9, from 7:00-8:15 p.m., Pastor Patrick will teach a DTU (Disciple Training University) course entitled, "What's So Great About Christianity?" The course is based on a book by Dinesh D'Souza, which is a must read for any 21st-century Christian. Childcare is offered alongside DTU courses, so make plans to join us. Men’s Bible Study: The Men’s group currently meets for fellowship and study Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m. at the church. We will be spending the next few weeks studying "Rick Warren's Bible Study Methods: Twelve Ways You Can Unlock God's Word". The study explores the many different ways we can study God’s Word and dig deeper for the riches it contains. Anyone who desires to dig deeper in God’s Word should plan on attending. Men's Fall Retreat 2008: Our fall retreat is scheduled for September 19-21 out on Lake Texoma. We will be on houseboats again this year, so join us for tubing, fishing, cards, and more! Mark your calendars now! The cost is $125 per person. This year's trip promises to be bigger and better than last year. Invite a friend. Places will go fast this year! Women's Bible Study: Come join us this spring to look at our friendships as we are blessed as women to gather together in God's word. The Bible study is called "The Blessings of Friendships". We will be studying how God has provided a model of friendship for us and how we are to learn to encourage, listen, be honest and forgive. He desires for our friendships to be full of grace and humility. We will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Friday nights in April and May at Lisa Schaefer’s house.
