This partnership focuses on long-term community transformation, providing support for education, nutrition, medical care, and spiritual development. At the heart of Children’s HopeChest’s work is the Community-to-Community and Friendship model, which connects churches like ours with children and families through meaningful, Christ-centered relationships.

Water’s Edge Meets La Cuchilla
We are celebrating an incredible milestone—what a beautiful and meaningful beginning this has been!
In March, our Team was able to witness a powerful moment as children at the CarePoint in La Cuchilla chose their Friend Partners. Soon after, we gathered again for Reveal Day and celebrated the joy of discovering the special child that chose their family. From that moment forward, relationships have officially begun.
Now, the journey continues—through prayer, encouragement, and letter writing, families are already beginning to build real connections with their new friends.
We are also excited to share that upcoming mission trips to La Cuchilla will give our Water’s Edge family the opportunity to visit the CarePoint, see the ministry firsthand, and experience the impact of these relationships in person.
