We’re heading to South Dakota!
As our middle school and high school students prepare for the upcoming Youthworks mission trip, we invite our church family to join us in prayer. Pray for safe travels, meaningful connections, and hearts ready to serve wherever God leads. We are asking for prayers over every detail of the trip—from transportation and lodging to the relationships that will be built along the way. Most importantly, pray for the people and communities God is sending our students to serve, that they would experience the love, hope, and compassion of Christ through every conversation, project, and act of kindness. We are excited to see how God will work in and through our students during this incredible week of ministry.
About YouthWorks & the Experience
YouthWorks has partnered with the Rapid City community since 1999, working alongside trusted local organizations to meet real needs in meaningful ways. During the trip, students may serve with agencies that support individuals with mental and physical challenges, help with summer kids programs, work in community gardens, or partner with other organizations serving the community.
In the evenings, students will experience more of the Rapid City area through exploring the natural beauty of the region, hearing from community speakers, and learning about the local culture, including the significance of the Black Hills. These experiences help students grow in faith, compassion, and understanding while making a lasting impact.
DTX Wednesdays
Join us every Wednesday at 7pm
Through engaging lessons, fun activities, and group discussions, we help young teens build a solid foundation in Christ while navigating the exciting and sometimes challenging years of middle school. It’s a supportive community where they can grow spiritually and personally.
